- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
- Add the hot sauce, honey, and Cajun seasoning to the melted butter. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally with a whisk. Let it cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or until it thickens to a syrupy consistency.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.

Notes
For a milder sauce, use a mild hot sauce or reduce the amount. For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper. This sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. To avoid separation, do not freeze. It's excellent as a glaze for grilled chicken, pork, or shrimp, or as a dip for fries and onion rings. Let the sauce cool completely before transferring to a storage jar to prevent condensation.
